How can we help?

All you need to know about PPE Headquarters.

FE Exam

All you need to know about the FE Exam.

What grade do I need to pass the FE exam?

The FE exam is scored on a pass or fail system, and the NCEES doesn't publish the score needed to pass.

They make mentions of a “scaled score”, “subject-matter experts” and “psychometric statistical methods.”

Navigating this can be a bit confusing among the tall tales online, but you can learn more about FE passing scores here.

How quickly can I prepare for the exam?

One month is the fastest you could go through the course, though that would be a full-time month without time for a job.

3 months is recommended, and most enrolment lasts 3–4 months.

How do you decide on course content?

We prioritize content based on student feedback about the topic, the difficulty, and the frequency it appears.

Our goal is to show the right questions, not the hundreds of questions.

How often do you update the materials?

We actively maintain the course materials to keep the courses relevant. We are always adding new content and removing content that isn't appearing on the exams.

The exam continually changes and so does our materials.

Can I write the exam if I'm international educated?

You certainly can, but there's a process to application and registration process for the state you wish to practice engineering.

Here's more detailed information on the Engineer In Training (EIT) process. We focus on exam preparation, but a great start is to reach out to the state board where you wish to practice engineering to start the process.

How long will I have access to the course?

You'll have access to the course, until you pass or until 6 months elapses, whichever comes first. If that doesn't work, please write us, and we'll find a way to make it work.

NPPE Exam

All you need to know about the NPPE Exam.

What grade do I need to pass the NPPE Exam?

A grade of 65% is required to pass the exam. Your Association will take approximately 2–4 weeks to notify you of a pass by email, but some other associations take 6 weeks.

Is PPE Headquarters quicker than the textbooks?

Yes. Our program has helped 1000s of engineers pass the exam without reading the textbooks, and our pass rate of the exam is exceptionally high (98% pass rate).

Do I have unlimited Practice Exam attempts?

You have unlimited attempts at the 110 questions that we offer. The 110 questions take 3–4 hours to complete, and you'll be well-prepared to write the exam.

Some people buy more exams, but commits you to another 3 hours of preparation time.

Our NPPE Study Guide keeps you from having to read the textbooks (~1000 pages and 2 weeks of evenings). We've worked hard to keep the reading down to 60 minutes with the Study Guide.

The real power is in the NPPE Practice Exams, we supply 110 questions complete with answers, thorough solutions, with unlimited attempts.

So our focus is to prepare you in 5–8 hours that most people complete in 1 or 2 days.

I'm having trouble logging in.

No problem, we'll get you set up.

If the signup email is not in your spam folder, please contact us to receive new login credentials. No problem, we'll get you going.

How often do you update the materials?

We update our materials after every writing with feedback from students. For example, a recent update was to reflect a trademark law change: 15 years down to 10 years.

Laws and regulations change, and so do our materials.

How long will I have access to the course?

You'll have access to the course, until you pass or until 6 months elapses, whichever comes first. If that doesn't work, please write us, and we'll find a way to make it work.

Is the NPPE exam the same for each Association?

Yes, it's now the same exam for each province and territory. The only exception is Quebec.

The NPPE exam is a closed book exam with 110 multiple choice questions to be completed in 2-1/2 hours.

What is best for the ASET PPE exam?

We don't offer a product for the ASET PPE Exam. The NPPE exam, that we prepare students for, is quite different, and our preparation course isn't suitable.
